The Pet Cabin was founded in April 1999 by Barry Webb in Jersey. Over the years the store has grown and grown based on Barry's love for animals and his commitment to providing friendly customer service.

Our range of live animals, reptiles and pet consumables is probably the most extensive in the Island. In 2005 we launched on the Internet primarily to give our local customers more information and good service. If you like what you see, please give us a call, as we'll be glad to give you help and advice wherever you are.

In January 2007 a new addition to the Pet Cabin was opened within Le Quesne's Nurseries, this new store was named The Pet Cabin 2, with the aim to provide the same extensive range of products for small animals, cats and dogs, as well as good, friendly service as we do in our other stores.

In January 2011 The Pet Cabin became a Limited Company, and Barry Webb was joined by Chris Le Saint as a fellow Director.  In the same year a new branch was opened across the pond, in Guernsey. Michelle and Mark Rogers joined up with Barry and Chris in this new venture; with same aims as our Jersey stores to provide an extensive product range backed up by a friendy and knowledgeable team.

We aim to continue to develop the business to meet the growing needs of our customers as the knowledge about the needs of our pets continues to grow; resulting in new and improved pet consumables and other products being released to this growing market.
